Security Programs Manager, 2004 - 2005Letterman Digital Arts Center, A Lucasfilm Ltd. Project Responsible for design, contract award, construction supervision, commissioning and implementation of security systems for 1.5 million square ft. office complex constructed at the Presidio of San Francisco. Duties included law enforcement and emergency services liaison, supervision of acquisition and programming of access control, cctv, and alarm systems, and subsequent installation of those systems; writing RFPs for selection of security guard contractor, acquisition of visitor lobby software, procurement of critical equipment; writing RFP for design, licensing, and overseeing construction of a trunked business radio system unique to the site; creating emergency preparedness manuals and tenant operations manuals, and other crucial tasks, all of which were needed to open the office campus and adjacent public park. Managed security coverage for two large opening events at site with attendance by celebrities, government officials, and invited public Interim safety & security manager, 2000 - 2004Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), a Lucasfilm ltd. division Supervised in-house security force of 12 security officers and 2 safety specialists, responsible for security coverage of campus of major motion picture special effects studio. Managed liaison programs with local law enforcement and fire service, hazardous materials program, employee safety training programs, accident investigations, and internal investigations. Created and helped train ILM ERT (emergency response team), an employee group, which assisted in cases of emergency and natural disasters. Corporate Security Manager 1999 - 2000Lucasfilm LTD. Managed anti-piracy and intellectual property protection strategy for the Star Wars trademark and other copyrighted and licensed brands and products. Supervised worldwide investigations and enforcement actions. Conducted threat assessment and security surveys of Skywalker Ranch and other critical company facilities. Participated in marketing and expanding the firm's business in the Vulnerability Assessment (VA) sector, focusing on public and private water utilities. (As a result of action by Congress following the 9/11 attacks, water utilities were required to strength their security procedures and harden their facilities. Mandatory VAs had to be completed nationwide by the end of 2004). R. Hahn and Co. was the successful contractor on over 30 VA projects, including the Cities of Ontario and Torrance, CA. Santa Clara County Water District, CA. Counties of Hawaii and Kauai, HI, and many others. All R. Hahn & Co. partners are RAM-W certified.

FBI Special ProjectsCreated and implemented San Francisco Bay Area Joint Terrorism Task Force, involving twelve different police agencies, directing counterterrorism investigations. (1996-1997) Organized elements of Bomb Management Center at 1996 Summer Olympic Games, Atlanta, Georgia, including equipping, training, scheduling, and directing daily activity of over three hundred law enforcement and military bomb technicians assigned to forty-eight different Olympic venue sites. (1996) Established and managed various aspects of the UNABOM Task Force, a multi-agency effort to solve a long-running criminal investigation.
Coordinated FBI participation and command post operations at Stanford Venue Site, for World Cup Soccer, including scenario planning, training, liaison, and jurisdiction requirements for six World Cup Games. Served as senior FBI representative in Command Post for all events. (1994) Designed and supervised construction and relocation of FBI San Francisco Field Office to 85,000 square feet of space. Organized move of office over one weekend with minimal disruption of operational activities. (1993) Managed Administrative Services Squad, with sixteen Special Agent personnel and twenty-three support staff with responsibility for police training, applicant recruiting, forfeiture asset seizure team, automotive fleet, electronic technicians, budget, physical space, and office service manager.
